As Director she is responsible for the oversight and direction of University Health Services that includes primary care, priority care, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, the Medical Response Unit (MRU), the Center for Health Advocacy and Wellness (CHAW) and business and IT operations. She is honored to work with a compassionate and dedicated healthcare team at FSU that collaborate to ensure that all students have access to high quality healthcare and wellness opportunities. She is also actively involved in college health nationally with the American College Health Association (ACHA) and has served multiple roles on the Southern College Health Association (SCHA) Board of Directors, including SCHA President. Outside of FSU she also enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and staying active.
Dr. DeLisle is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment and serves as the Medical Director for University Health Services (UHS). His main duties include the medical oversight of the clinic, assuring that quality clinical services are provided to students, as well as developing clinical protocols to implement a high standard of patient care. He works closely with other campus departments and co-manages campus public health event responses while communicating with the health department on a state and local level. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine for the Florida State University College of Medicine. Dr. DeLisle has been with UHS since 2012 and has been practicing medicine since 2006. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003, graduating with honors from Nova Southeastern University.
Kelly Dykes is a dedicated and accomplished Healthcare Administrator with over 20 years of experience supporting administrative and technological roles in college health. She has proven leadership skills, building strong and diverse teams that innovate in complex environments. Kelly is focused on digital transformation, organizational quality, and operational excellence.
Throughout her career, Kelly has demonstrated a deep commitment to her work and passion for helping others. During her time with University Health Services, she has spearheaded the implementation of new clinical information systems and designed training programs to ensure adoption of new technologies.
In her current role as Associate Director of Quality Improvement Technology Services, she continues to drive innovation and serves as the HIPAA Privacy Officer. She develops policies and partnerships to achieve departmental goals, while also overseeing critical committees focused on accreditation, quality improvement, and risk management.
Kelly enjoys taking on diverse leadership roles and responsibilities. She is adaptable and driven, constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities for improvement. Kelly's collaborative spirit and commitment to excellence undoubtedly make her an asset to the University Health Services team.

Mari Kay is the Assistant Director of Public Relations & Appointment Scheduling at UHS. Since joining the team in 2011, she has played a pivotal role in enhancing communication strategies and ensuring seamless appointment scheduling for our patients. With a wealth of experience and a passion for fostering relationships, Mari Kay has been instrumental in shaping the public image of UHS. Beyond the professional realm, she finds joy in exploring new places and cherishing moments with her family.

As Assistant Director of Facilities, Anthony oversees the daily operations of the in-house Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Inventory departments in University Health Services. He also serves as Assistant Risk Manager and Continuity of Operations Coordinator to ensure compliance and safety within UHS. He has worked in many capacities within Florida State University over 20 years and has utilized this time to create a network of support for the university as a whole. He also currently serves as founder and chair for the universities Facilities Maintenance Support Committee to ensure the university has open lines of communication between its support staff to better serve our students, faculty, and staff. He is currently working on his Interdisciplinary Social Science degree, that specializes in public service, and United States Intelligence and emergency management program at Florida State University. He also holds many FEMA certifications in disaster management and mitigation. In his personal time, he enjoys working with his hands on his farm, renovation projects, and mechanical repairs.
Hannah (she/her/hers) is the Accreditation, Quality Improvement, and Risk Manager. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Florida State University. She also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from John’s Hopkins University and certifications in facilitation, quality improvement, and public health leadership. Hannah enjoys using data to tell a story and has a passion for innovation and employee and customer engagement. Her responsibilities include overseeing organizational policies and compliance with accreditation standards, managing quality improvement projects, and reviewing risk management incidents. She also leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of a three-year strategic plan. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys discovering new restaurants, attending FSU sporting events, drinking coffee, and spending time with her teenage daughters.
As Director, Rose (she/her/hers) provides leadership and strategic planning for campus wellness initiatives including alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, sexual health, power-based personal violence prevention, nutrition and body image, bystander intervention, and general wellbeing. Rose was instrumental in the development of the campus-wide kNOw MORE power-based violence prevention initiative which highlights education and the continuum of care for students, faculty, and staff. Creating spaces where students feel empowered to take ownership of their lives through education and skill building serves as the foundation of her work. She is currently completing her Doctorate of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Florida State. Outside of FSU, she enjoys attending community events, thrift shopping and traveling.

Leah oversees the University Health Services (UHS) Human Resources (HR) Team and serves as HR Recruiter for the department. She has been working at Florida State University (FSU) since 2016 and started with UHS in 2020. Her role allows her to work closely with supervisors and Central HR to hire diverse talent for UHS. Being that UHS is a health center, this allows her the unique opportunity to hire for clinical and administrative roles all while being within Higher Education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management in 2016 from Florida State University. As an FSU graduate, she feels grateful for the opportunity to assist in the hiring process for a student focused department.

Aliya Gamez (she/her) is the Marketing Assistant and Web Developer at UHS. Her duties include supporting the maintenance of UHS's primary website and managing other affiliated sites like CHAW, Student Insurance, and Healthy Campus. Her responsibilities extend to the crafting of web pages and the editing of content across the site, ensuring a seamless and engaging online experience for visitors on both the main UHS website and its additional services. Outside of her work and studies at FSU, she enjoys reading novels, watching TV and spending time with her cat.

My name is Mikesha Bowden, but I mostly go by Keke. I am a UCF alum and love all things black and gold. I worked at UHS for five years in Compliance from 2014-2019 and moved over to the College of Medicine. I have returned and now I work closely alongside Mrs. Tamecho Jordan to manage Student Services. I love to spend time with my family & closest friends, as well as alone. I also enjoy reading and resting along with a few other things.

Serving as MRU's Training Supervisor, Michael provides training and mentorship to student-responders to prepare them as today's emergency medical responders and tomorrow's healthcare leaders. Michael is responsible for implementing a meaningful experience for our student-responders that equips and encourages them to serve others with both high competence and deep compassion. Before working at FSU, Michael served as a paramedic in both rural and urban 9-1-1 EMS systems and as a critical care transport paramedic. In addition to working at FSU, Michael continues to serve as an adjunct EMS instructor for first responder, EMT and paramedic courses. In his free time, Michael enjoys reading philosophy, being active within his church, and spending time with his husband and their dog, Major.

Sarah graduated from the University of Florida's Physician Assistant program in 2006. She practiced in a private family practice for 4 years prior to joining University Health Services in 2010. Sarah has been working in the Fast Track Clinic since it began in 2014.

Zabe (They/Them/Theirs) is the Assistant Director in the Center for Health Advocacy and Wellness (CHAW). They are the former sexual health coordinator in CHAW and have a passion for sexual health. As assistant director, their responsibilities include serving the campus community on the issues of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs; hazing prevention, and overall wellness. They aim to create spaces where students feel empowered to make decisions that are best for their health, as well as engage in health advocacy for themselves and their peers. They received their Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Psychology and Sociology, and a Minor in Womens & Gender Studies from Valdosta State University and their Masters in Public Health from Florida State University. In their free time, Zabe enjoys knitting, pirates, spending time with loved ones, including their cat Phoebe.
Nell (she/her/hers) is the Green Dot Coordinator for the Center for Health Advocacy and Wellness. Her main responsibilities include coordinating the implementation of the Green Dot Bystander Intervention program, educating students on bystander intervention, and collaborating with campus stakeholders. Nell received her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Florida State University and is currently completing her Masters of Social Work. In her free time, she enjoys cake decorating, watching scary movies, and trying to find the perfect cup of boiled peanuts.
Samantha Thoms (She/her) is a Registered Dietitian in the Center of Health Advocacy and Wellness. Before moving to Florida, Sam lived and worked as a dietitian in both Vancouver, BC and Indianapolis, IN. She received her Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Indiana University and her Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in nutrition/dietetics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sam aims to help students learn to dispel nutrition myths, challenge dominant cultural narratives around health, and develop healthy habits on their own terms. In her free time, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, spending time with her family, gardening, and sewing.

Emma (she/her/hers) is the Registered Dietitian for the Center for Health Advocacy and Wellness. Emma has always valued the teachings of Intuitive Eating and being a part of the Health At Every Size Movement. Her main responsibilities include educating students on various nutrition topics that aim to promote having a long-lasting healthy relationship with food and body image, and collaborating with campus partners. She also provides one-on-one nutrition counseling to students seeking guidance on various nutrition topics related to general healthful eating, disordered eating, eating disorders, high cholesterol, food allergies, and many more. Emma received her Bachelor's in Dietetics at Florida State University, completed her internship, and became credentialed by the national association and licensed in the State of Florida, to provide appropriate, safe, scientific and evidence-based nutrition guidance. In her free time, she loves spending time with her weenie dog, Fettuccine, hiking, painting, and watching reality tv.

Esaunti (she/her) is the prevention coordinator for sexual health. She is a former CHAW HIV intern, that received her Master in Public Health (MPH) from Florida State. She also received her Bachelor in Public Health from the University of South Florida. Her responsibilities include, HIV testing, wellness coaching, and presentations to students about health and wellness topics. She loves engaging with students and fostering an environment where they feel safe and can thrive. In her free time Esaunti enjoys true crime podcasts, yoga, and spending time with her dog Winter.
