- To ensure everyone has the best experience, we've limited the capacity for each session. Once a session is full, it will no longer appear as an option.
- All staff will attend the 8-10am session in HWC 2100.

This session will bring awareness to simple things you can incorporate in daily life, when applied, can also help you to be Well as Work! Discussion Topics: 7 Things You Should Know About Exercise, Trends in Meal Prep and and a brief seated meditation. Informal and open discussion, Q&A and a practical segment that does not requirement physical activity.

Conflict Communication

Conflict is unavoidable. And though it can cause damage if handled poorly, it can strengthen your workplace, your relationships, and your whole organization if handled well. Learn about different conflict styles, including your own, and learn and practice constructive ways to manage and de-escalate the conflict.

Join us for an engaging and informative session where we will delve into the comprehensive services and support offered by the Department of Student Support and Transitions at Florida State University (FSU). This session is designed to provide staff with a thorough understanding of the department's mission, key programs, and resources available to students as they navigate their academic and personal journeys. Participants will learn about the various initiatives aimed at fostering student success.

Are you feeling "stressed out"? We all deal with stressors in our lives, but too much stress can harm our overall health-mentally, emotionally, and physically. Join us to learn some helpful ways to manage your stress and improve your overall well-being effectively!

Art Therapy

This Art Therapy session will provide an introduction to Art Therapy as a mental health profession and its application at CAPS for students. Additionally, participants will engage in a hands-on art-making activity to experience firsthand how art can facilitate self-reflection in the therapeutic process.

Using Active Listening to Enhance Your Work Life with Michelle

We all know being a good listener is important. Yet, few people are really good at active listening. In this session, we'll help you learn about your listening style, understand nonverbal cues, distinguish between the two types of empathy and how to use them, and give you new tools to become a better listener and communicator. You'll also learn how to help ensure the people around you feel respected, understood, and heard while finding ways to navigate difficult or emotionally charged situations better. And you'll have the chance to work with others from UHS and have a little fun as well! Come prepared to try some new ideas and approaches to enhance your work life and even your communication with family and friends!
