Interested in Volunteering as an Emergency Medical Responder with MRU?
For students who are not yet certified as an EMR:
The application period for the limited spots in the MRU’s Emergency Medical Responder course is held each Fall and Spring semester. The application window for students who are interested in interviewing during the Fall 2024 semester for a spot in the Spring 2025 class is open starting August 3rd, 2024 and will remain open until October 15th, 2024 at 11:59pm. For students who already have their EMR, EMT, or Paramedic certification:
Students who are already certified can apply to join the next available MRU’s Field Training semester (held every Spring and Fall semester). The application window for the training semester is open year-round and interviews will be conducted year-round as well. The Training Semester is not offered for academic credit. Students accepted into the Training semester will be offered a spot in the Spring or Fall semester following their interview.
