Heather Mudd
Heather Mudd, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with our Primary Care Team at UHS. She earned her doctoral degree from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky and has been working with UHS for 6 years focusing on mental health and inclusive health care. Before becoming an APRN, Heather worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse and a high school English teacher. In her free time, Heather is the president of the Down Syndrome Foundation of Tallahassee and enjoys advocating for individuals with Down Syndrome. She also enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and four kiddos. Heather loves to read, paint, craft, and swim. She is passionate about providing equitable and supportive healthcare to all of her clients.
