Pamela Black
Pamela Black, RT(R), is the Diagnostic Imaging Manager for University Health Services (UHS). Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality radiology and ultrasound services, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and promoting excellence in patient care.
In addition to supporting the campus community, Pamela and the Diagnostic Imaging team work closely with FSU Athletics and Sports Medicine physicians to coordinate imaging services for student-athletes.
Pamela has been a member of the UHS team since 2006 and has nearly 20 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. She earned her Associate in Science degree in Radiography from Tallahassee Community College, graduating with honors. In 2012, she completed the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Tallahassee Community College, also with honors. Throughout her career, Pamela has remained dedicated to delivering compassionate patient care, supporting the professional growth of her team, and advancing diagnostic imaging services that promote the health and well-being of the Florida State University community.
