Internships

Health Promotion currently works with the following departments to provide students with hands on opportunities that help them to gain valuable professional experience, enhance critical thinking proficiency and build leadership skills. Specific learning outcomes, health behavior theories, research and best practices help direct components of each internship experience.

  • Masters in Public Health
  • Masters in Clinical Nutrition
  • The Program in Higher Education

Work Study

Thagard Student Health Center welcomes work study students. If you have a work study award and are interested in working at the health center, contact the TSHC Human Resources Department at (850) 644-3418.

Assistantships

Doctoral students currently enrolled in the Counseling Psychology and School Psychology program may have an opportunity to receive an assistantship while working with Health Promotion. The next position will be available in Summer 2012. Contact the Health Promotion office at (850) 644-8871 if you are interested.

Other assistantships may be available in Health Promotion. Check with your department if you are interested.
